The Uzbekistan Technological Metals Complex (TMK) met with representatives of the French Development Agency (AFD) and the Foundation for Studies and Research on International Development (FERDI) to discuss expanding investment cooperation and securing funding from international financial institutions for promising industrial projects.
During the meeting at TMK's headquarters, the company presented projects focused on the extraction and advanced processing of critical minerals, as well as the manufacture of high-value-added products.
Discussions centered on aligning the projects with the requirements of international financial institutions, assessing their economic and financial viability, and leveraging French expertise in green energy, sustainable development, and infrastructure.
Following the talks, the parties agreed to strengthen cooperation, continue sharing information, explore international financing mechanisms, and compile a list of promising projects.
The sides also reached an understanding to provide FERDI with documentation on the projects' feasibility, investment appeal, and implementation prospects for expert-level review and to identify areas for future cooperation.
