The Uzbekistan Technological Metals Complex (TMK) has taken a significant step toward expanding cooperation with major institutional investors and unlocking new financial opportunities.
In Tashkent, as part of an international investor visit to Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Georgia organized by Citi, TMK management met with representatives of the British investment company Schroders, the US investment fund Sandglass Capital Management, and Citi.
Major players in the international financial market took part in the negotiations. In particular, assets under management by the British company Schroders stand at £867.8 billion, while the US investment fund Sandglass Capital Management specializes in emerging-market sovereign and corporate debt securities.
During the meeting, TMK presented its development strategy, product line, capacity expansion plans, and ongoing investment projects. Foreign investors showed keen interest in the combine's projects.
One of the key topics of discussion was the planned initial public offering (IPO) of TMK shares in 2028. In this context, the parties discussed the prospects of obtaining an international credit rating for the company and listing its shares on the stock exchange. Foreign investors expressed their readiness to provide practical support in these processes, and the parties agreed to continue cooperation and dialogue.
