⛏️ Tungsten and Waste: How Can Waste Become a Resource Again?

⚡️ In 2027, the Ingichka complex in Uzbekistan plans to process 1.95 million tons of technogenic tungsten waste. In 2025, a detailed study was carried out to assess the composition, volume, and location of tungsten-containing technogenic waste in the area. The project aims to create added value through its deep processing.

💼 The total cost of the project, implemented by the Uzbekistan Technological Metals Complex (TMK), is $14.79 million. The processing of technogenic waste will result in the production of tungsten trioxide concentrate — WO₃. According to the plan, production will increase from 300 tons to 587 tons in 2026, and then to 1,170 tons in 2027.

🔄 The volume of technogenic waste processing will also increase gradually: to 1 million tons in 2026 and 1.95 million tons in 2027.

💠 In this way, tungsten-bearing material that was once considered waste at Ingichka is being transformed into a valuable industrial resource. For TMK, this project represents a practical model for creating high added value through the efficient use of existing resources and the deep processing of tungsten.
