Amir Abidov, Deputy Chairman of the TMK Management Board for New Technologies, Innovation, and Artificial Intelligence, spoke at the panel session "Implementing International Sustainable Development Standards in Uzbekistan's Mining Industry." The session was held as part of the Eco Expo Central Asia 2026 international exhibition.
During his presentation, Mr. Abidov shared information on major projects TMK is undertaking to implement ESG principles, digitalize production processes, and create a green industry model.
These include:
- The Ingichka project for processing industrial waste;
- A program to return coal ash and slag waste to industrial use;
- Facilities for the deep processing of molybdenum and tungsten;
- The Smart Powder powder metallurgy project;
- The Graphite Cluster;
- The R&D Park Science and Technology Center, a key component of the green industry and the production of high-value-added products.
The session emphasized that TMK is a center of industrial transformation in Uzbekistan, putting into practice modern ESG approaches, artificial intelligence, Industry 4.0 technologies, and low-carbon production principles.
