A video conference took place between representatives of TMK and the National Center for Complex Processing of Mineral Raw Materials of Kazakhstan.
During the dialogue, the parties discussed potential areas of cooperation, including:
processing lead-containing waste and extracting valuable components from it;
efficient extraction of strategically important elements through targeted processing of washing acid solutions generated in various metallurgical processes;
technologies for extracting rare elements such as osmium, rhenium, and bismuth.
"We are already prepared for this collaboration. We hope to launch joint projects in the near future," said Dosmurat Aitkulov, First Deputy Director General for Science at the National Center for Complex Processing of Mineral Raw Materials of Kazakhstan.
As a result of the negotiations, the parties agreed to develop a "roadmap" for cooperation, establish an exchange of specialists and technical expertise, and foster long-term scientific and technological collaboration.
