The Uzbekistan–Korea Business Forum was held today in Tashkent, providing a platform for expanding trade, investment, industrial, and economic cooperation between the business communities of the two countries.
The event brought together representatives of the Korea Importers Association (KOIMA), the diplomatic mission of the Republic of Korea in Uzbekistan, KOTRA, the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency, and several Korean companies.
Timur Khikmatullaev, Director of the Department of International Economic Relations and Diplomatic Cooperation at the Uzbekistan Technological Metals Complex (TMK), addressed the forum’s main session. He presented TMK’s activities, export potential, and priority areas for international cooperation.
As part of the forum, TMK representatives also held B2B meetings with GS Global Corp. and TM International Co., Ltd. The parties discussed opportunities to export TMK products to the Korean market, establish new trade ties, and further expand cooperation.
The Republic of Korea is one of the world’s leading centers of high-tech manufacturing, automotive production, and advanced industrial technologies.
Participation in such business platforms creates additional opportunities for TMK to enter new export markets, deepen technological partnerships, and develop high-value-added products based on critical minerals in Uzbekistan.
