With the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Germany, the Uzbekistan Technological Metals Complex (TMK) held a roadshow in Berlin to present new opportunities for cooperation in the critical minerals sector.
The event provided a platform for direct dialogue on investment, technology transfer, and industrial cooperation. It brought together representatives of around 20 German companies, including major industrial manufacturers and end users, as well as international financial institutions.
Participants were introduced to TMK’s investment portfolio, comprising more than 140 projects with a total value of approximately USD 4.2 billion. Particular attention was given to TMK’s integrated industrial model, its tungsten and molybdenum clusters, and its research, development, and innovation infrastructure.
One of the key areas of discussion was the involvement of leading German industrial companies and end users in the implementation of new manufacturing projects in Uzbekistan.
TMK’s strategic objective goes beyond increasing exports of raw materials and semi-finished products. Its priority is to attract advanced technologies and manufacturing expertise, localize them in Uzbekistan, and produce high-value-added products based on critical minerals within the country.
The Berlin roadshow marked another practical step towards bringing together Uzbekistan’s mineral potential and Germany’s technological, industrial, and financial capabilities.
Uzbekistan is steadily moving from resource exports towards advanced processing and global industrial cooperation. TMK is one of the key drivers of this transformation.
