Currently, a delegation from the Uzbekistan Technological Metals Complex is on a working visit to China. Over the course of a week, representatives from the plant will familiarize themselves with the operations, production facilities, and modern technologies of the Chinese company Xiamen Tungsten (XTC).
The first item on the agenda was a visit to the XTC Molybdenum plant in Chengdu, which specializes in molybdenum smelting, powder and alloy production. The delegation thoroughly acquainted themselves with the production processes, technological solutions, and products of the enterprise.
Following the visit, the parties discussed expanding cooperation in the field of molybdenum and tungsten processing. They considered prospects for constructing new hydrometallurgical facilities in Uzbekistan, as well as creating joint production clusters within the framework of the "Metals of the Future" technopark.
The future projects of the Uzbekistan Technological Metals Plant and Xiamen Tungsten are expected to be of strategic importance both for the industrial development of Uzbekistan and for the global market of critical minerals.
