Dilrabo Usmanova has worked in the same industry for nearly 20 years. Today, products she helps produce are exported to markets around the world.
Dilrabo is a processing specialist at the Rare Metals and Hard Alloys Production Plant, part of the Uzbekistan Technological Metals Complex (TMK). Every day, she contributes to the production of strategically important products, including tungsten and molybdenum alloys, bars and briquettes.
“Since TMK was established, demand for our products has grown significantly, and we have been receiving inquiries from various countries. Our working conditions are improving, and new technologies are being introduced. Working in the safe and modern conditions created for us makes you enjoy your work and motivates you to do even more,” she says.
For Dilrabo, however, this is more than just a production process. It is a source of immense pride.
“I am very happy to see our products being exported to countries such as Canada, Switzerland and Italy. It is a great source of pride for me to know that even a small part of my work goes into products shipped abroad and that they pass through my hands.
As we celebrate the 35th anniversary of our independence, at a time when Uzbekistan’s industry and TMK are developing rapidly, I am happy to work and be part of this process!”
