On June 24–25, Ankara, Türkiye, hosted MINEX Asia 2026, one of the leading international forums in the mining industry. This year’s event was held under the motto “Connecting Continents: Creating a Sustainable Mining Ecosystem along the Middle Corridor.”
During the forum, the delegation of the Uzbekistan Technological Metals Complex (TMK) held productive talks with leading foreign companies, investors, and international partners.
As part of the panel session “From Ore to Finished Products: Operational Technologies and Value Chain Integration in Central Asia’s Mining Industry,” Umid Salohutdinov, Deputy Director of the Future Metals Technopark under TMK, delivered a keynote presentation.
In his remarks, he outlined the role of the Future Metals Technopark in developing integrated value chains — from the extraction of rare earth elements to the production of high-value-added products. He also emphasized the Technopark’s importance in introducing modern technological solutions for manufacturers and advancing Uzbekistan’s processing industry.
TMK’s participation in MINEX Asia 2026 marked another important step in expanding international cooperation, attracting advanced technologies, and presenting Uzbekistan’s growing potential in the critical minerals sector to the global professional community.
