Uzbekistan Technological Metals Complex (TMK) hosted a meeting at its headquarters with EarthDaily, a Canadian company specializing in Earth observation and geospatial analytics.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the application of artificial intelligence and remote sensing technologies in mineral exploration. EarthDaily also presented Marigold, its AI-powered platform designed to support geological exploration.
The company’s specialists provided a detailed overview of the platform’s capabilities, including the automated analysis of satellite imagery, removal of data noise, and identification of prospective geological targets.
Powered by artificial intelligence, Marigold predicts prospective exploration areas, enabling geologists to identify priority drilling targets, optimize exploration activities, and significantly reduce both time and costs.
The discussions also focused on the platform’s potential application under Uzbekistan’s geological conditions, the reliability of its results, and the algorithms used to process satellite data.
The parties exchanged views on the prospects for cooperation in the digitalization of geological exploration, the implementation of AI-driven solutions, and the adoption of advanced geospatial technologies.
