With the assistance of the British Embassy in Uzbekistan, a meeting was held at the head office of the Uzbekistan Technological Metals Complex (TMK) with representatives of the British company Astera Minerals and the Canadian company RJLL Drilling. The parties discussed prospects for cooperation in geological exploration, drilling, and the introduction of modern technological solutions.
The delegation was led by David Bradley, President of RJLL Drilling, and Elena Baranova, Founder of Astera Minerals.
RJLL Drilling is one of the most experienced companies in Canada’s geological drilling services market. The company specializes in surface and underground core drilling, deep-hole drilling, exploration in challenging geographical conditions, and the identification and expansion of mineral resource bases. RJLL Drilling operates 47 modern drilling rigs and is capable of performing more than 600,000 meters of drilling per year.
Astera Minerals is an international consulting company based in the United Kingdom. It specializes in project management and the development of international cooperation in geology, mining, critical minerals, and investment projects. The company also helps strengthen ties with foreign investors and supports promising mining initiatives.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the development of geological exploration using modern technologies, the introduction of advanced solutions in drilling processes, and the establishment of long-term industrial cooperation.
TMK expressed interest in collaborating with these companies in areas such as geological core drilling, reverse circulation (RC) drilling, geophysical surveys, and geochemical analysis of rock samples.
