The delegation of the Technological Metals Combine (TMK) made a notable contribution at the Critical Minerals International Forum (INFOCM 2025), held in Seoul, the capital of the Republic of Korea. The large-scale forum brought together representatives from over 400 organizations and companies worldwide.
During the event, Shavkat Nabiyev, Advisor to the Chairman of TMK on International Economic Affairs, delivered a presentation highlighting the combine’s technological capabilities, scientific research potential, and Uzbekistan’s geological prospects in the field of critical minerals.
Within the forum framework, bilateral meetings were held with representatives of the Korea Institute of Geoscience and Mineral Resources (KIGAM) and the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Korea. The discussions focused on cooperation in the extraction, enrichment, and processing of critical minerals, as well as joint research initiatives on lithium deposits.
TMK’s participation in INFOCM-2025 not only showcased its scientific and technological strength on the global stage but also marked a significant step toward strengthening international partnerships in this strategically vital sector.
