As part of Uzbekistan's policy of openness and international cooperation in the field of critical minerals, TMK representatives visited Great Britain and held meetings with leading engineering companies and firms specializing in mineral resources. The visit was organized with the support of the British Embassy in Uzbekistan in collaboration with the Cornwall Mining and Geo-Resources Alliance.
Initially, the activities of SLR Consulting Limited were examined, and advanced engineering solutions used in hydrometallurgy and mineral processing were discussed with the company's leading specialist, Garfield Stewart.
Additionally, at a meeting with the management of one of the world's most prestigious engineering centers - Paterson & Cooke, a dialogue took place with Paul Ainsworth and the company's global CEO Steve Wilson on technology, mineral processing, and technical cooperation.
During the visit, TMK representatives familiarized themselves with the activities of the Cornwall Mining and Geo-Resources Alliance, which unites the mineral resources ecosystem of the Cornwall region, and the Petrolab UK Ltd laboratory, which performs high-precision analysis in the field of materials science and mineralogy.
To conclude the visit, representatives of British partner companies were given an expanded presentation covering TMK's activities across the full value chain, major projects, the Technopark ecosystem, and Uzbekistan's directions in technological metals.
The parties agreed to deepen cooperation in the fields of tungsten hydrometallurgy, joint research, and personnel training.
