A delegation from Uzbekistan, led by the Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology, is currently on an official visit to the Republic of Korea. The delegation also includes Farhod Abdullayev, Chairman of the Board of UzTMC.
On the first day of the visit, the following key meetings were held:
• With Yong Sug Kim, President of the Korean Geological Society, where opportunities for deeper cooperation in geology between Uzbekistan and Korea were discussed.
• With Kiyon Hwan, Executive Director of the Export-Import Bank of Korea, focusing on possibilities for financing large-scale joint projects.
• With Li Chon Bok, Chief Executive Officer of Kumho P&B Chemicals, highlighting the expansion of chemical production vital for Uzbekistan's industrial development.
• With the leadership of the Korean Industrial Center for Rare Metals (KITECH), wrapping up the productive first day of the visit.
