The delegation from the Uzbekistan Technological Metals Complex has successfully completed its visit to China.
Over the course of a week, delegation members gained close familiarity with the operations, production capacities, and modern technologies of China's giant industrial enterprises.
Main sites visited:
XTC Molybdenum Plant in Chengdu - studied molybdenum smelting processes, powder production, and alloy manufacturing;
Luoyang Golden Egret Geotools Co., Ltd. - familiarized themselves with the production of cemented carbide equipment and mining machinery;
Xinloken tungsten processing plant - examined innovative and environmentally friendly technologies;
Fujian Gold Dragon Rare Earth - studied automated and intelligent systems;
GESAC and XTC enterprises - explored areas of mining equipment production, hard alloys, and new energy sources (lithium-ion cathodes).
The main topics of discussion at meetings included training of qualified personnel and specialist exchanges, establishment of new hydrometallurgical facilities in Uzbekistan, organization of joint production clusters within the framework of the "Metals of the Future Technology Park" project, joint projects on tungsten, molybdenum, rare earth elements and new energy technologies, as well as the construction of industrial centers serving the markets of Uzbekistan and Central Asia.
The planned joint projects are expected to transform our country into a regional hub for the deep processing of critical minerals and the production of high value-added products.
