A seminar-training on mineralogical analysis was organized for UzTMK geologists with the participation of the Canadian company SGS.
The seminar focused on advanced analytical methods in the context of lithium, rare earth elements, and niobium. Dr. Tassos Grammatikopulos gave a presentation on modern tools such as QEMSCAN, TEMA, electron microscopy, and X-ray diffraction.
The event also included discussions on the role of mineral structures in the flotation process, challenges in detecting light elements, and the capabilities of the SGS Lakefield laboratory.
