As part of Investor Day, held in the United Kingdom, the delegation of JSC “Uzbekistan Technological Metals Complex” (TMK) held a series of negotiations with leading global financial institutions and investment banks.
In particular, meetings were held with major international banks, including ICBC Standard Bank, MUFG, Standard Chartered, and Deutsche Bank. During the negotiations, TMK presented its strategic investment projects, including the development of tungsten and molybdenum clusters, the creation of new mining and processing capacities, the production of high value-added products, and the expansion of export potential.
The parties also discussed opportunities for cooperation with international financial institutions in the following areas:
— attracting investment funds;
— introducing export financing mechanisms;
— financing large-scale industrial projects through project finance;
— accessing international capital markets;
— exploring opportunities for Eurobond issuance;
— IPO prospects and expanding the participation of international investors.
These meetings demonstrated the strong interest of foreign financial institutions in the development of Uzbekistan’s critical raw materials sector, strengthening the country’s position in global supply chains and in the technological metals industry.
